ABOUT MARISSA CARPENTER:

I am a licensed cosmetologist and salon owner in Utah. I work as a stylist at Mark Anthony Salon and Day Spa and own Marissa's Hair Studio. I attended Paul Mitchell The School Provo and I graduated with honors in texture, cutting, and coloring. Along with being the design team captain, and participating as a member of every single Paul Mitchell team offered at the school, I also made The Dean's List. I have always strived to be a "YES" person. Taking in every opportunity has helped me to grow and receive incredible professional work experience. I have professional experience working on photoshoots, plays, and fashion shows. One of my greatest accomplishments was being a key hair artist for Provo Fashion in September 2014. I am passionate about what the beauty industry has to offer, and love furthering my knowledge in new techniques and current trends.

Other than doing hair; some of my interests include coaching tumbling, playing with my 2 spunky dogs, spending quality time with my family, and BAKING! (In fact, I love sharing my favorite new treats and recipes with all of my guests.)

I have always had a passion for fashion and beauty. I hope to share what I know with you! My experiences (especially the experiences as a cosmetologist and through competing in pageants) have given me further knowledge about the beauty industry.
